Infrastructure :
Class rooms
The department has state of the art class rooms equipped with excellent
infrastructure. The institute has provided posh executive class rooms with the
latest teaching aids like LCD, OHP and other Audio visual equipments to impart
the knowledge in the best possible manner.
Computing and internet facilities :
The state of the art computer labs with excellent computing facilities and
peripheral devices make learning at Sahyadri world class. Internet facility with
requisite infrastructure is
provided round the clock in the campus, so that the students and staff could be
exposed to all the latest information with just the click of mouse. Online
access to digital library is also provided.
Library Resource Centre
Much care is taken to provide the best of the best facilities in the Library to
motivate the students and the faculty members to make use of the facilities. The
Central Library and Information Centre is housed with state of the art furniture
and facilities. Audio Visual facilities, photo copying facilities, book bank
facilities etc are also in place.
Transport Facilities
The college provides bus transport facility from and to the college within local
limits at very reasonable rates.
Sports
The Management gives lot amount of emphasis for sportsmanship. The campus has
state of art infrastructure for facilitating sports. The campus has also
facilities for indoor games.
Placement & Training
We at Sahyadri college have planned to develop an industry – institute
interaction cell. A full time Placement & Training Officer is also recruited to
coordinate all the Placement & Training activities. Sahyadri Placement Center
has been constantly increasing its linkages to every sphere of corporate and
industry so that the students get opportunities to take part in a number of
on-campus and off – campus placement exercises.

extracurricular activities. Though our students work hard in class, they also

Eligibility
A student who has passed PU examinations of Karnataka, +2 examinations of other
states or any other equivalent examinations is eligible to apply for the course.
Preference will be given to science students when they seek admission for BCA
degree course.
