Everyone has ideas, the difference lies in how well you present them. Can you go up on the stage and impressively, logically and analytically put forth a view? We at Sahyadri give a platform to test each one's hidden talent.

It's our quest for excellence to develop skills of organizing, co-coordinating and executing in young Sahyadrians, so that learning moves beyond the confines of the four walls, to make learning experiential. This, along with the joy of providing platforms for the expression of vibrant and abundant talent is being encouraged at Sahyadri, as we believe 'All work and no entertainment make Jack a dull boy'.

Cultural activities for this academic year were formally inaugurated on 20th October, 2008.

We have organized various competitions for students within the college like singing (solo & group), dancing (solo & group), drawing, rangoli, variety entertainment, quiz, elocution, debate, cooking, etc

Equal importance was given to invoke Patriotism in our young minds, as a part we have celebrated Independence Day, Kannada Rajyotsava, Republic Day. Great leaders like Dr. K. M. Subbarao, chairman national youth project were invited to address our students.

Foundation day was celebrated on November 18th, 2008. Our college team has also participated in various inter-collegiate cultural competitions, many TV auditions and also won prizes and appreciation. College Annual day was celebrated on 21st March, 2009. A formal valedictory function for the cultural events for the year 2008-09 was also organized on 4th April, 2009.
