1. Students are required to maintain the highest standard of behaviour and
discipline both inside and outside the College.
2. Mobile phones are totally banned inside the premises. In case any student is
found with the usage of mobile phones inside the premises, Mobile phones will be
ceased by the authorities, and necessary action will be taken.
3. They shall strictly observe the disciplinary rules framed by the College.
4. Every student is expected to acknowledge/greet the members of the staff when
he/she meets them.
5. On the ring of the first bell, students shall assemble in the class rooms and
wait silently for the faculty. When the faculty enters the class room students
shall rise and remain standing till they are asked to sit.
6. Students having no class, shall not loiter in the verandah, but are expected
to spend the time in the Library.
7. Irregular attendance, in-difference with regard to the class work and
examination, discourtesy towards the teachers, insubordination, obscenity in
word or act, willful damage of College property, antisocial activities etc. are
liable for disciplinary action which include expulsion from the college.
8. Participation in the College functions, Association Meetings, College
Assembly, Games, Seminars, Group Discussions, Industrial Visits, Viva Voce etc.
are obligatory to all the students.
9. Students who do not live with their parents or guardian must live in the
Hostels or in the lodging approved by the Principal. 10. Without the permission
of the Principal, students shall not organize any activities or associate with
any group activities which may hamper the interests of the college.
11. Convening the meetings, inviting persons by students, publishing of any
materials or canvassing or mobilizing the students for any particular opinion or
action will not be allowed without the permission of the Principal.
12. The Principal shall have the power to rusticate any student from the college
if the student is found guilty of serious misconduct or the student's presence
in the college is injurious to the order and discipline of the college.
13. Late comer can enter the class only if permitted by the Lecturer. They may
be marked present only if there is sufficient reason for being late.
14. Students should refrain from the use of tobacco, alcohol, drugs and chewing
gums.
15. Every student should posses an Identity Card issued by the College which
should be produced whenever asked for, specially when dealing with the office
and library.
16. Books, umbrellas etc, should have name or mark by which the owner can be
easily identified. All stray or unclaimed property should be brought to the
notice of the Principal.
17.Students may not give the college address for any personal correspondence.
The College will not be held responsible for the loss of any letter, whatever be
the nature of the correspondence.
18.The students are expected to treat the college as their own and to cooperate
in its efficient and smooth running.
19. They should come in neat, ironed and the prescribed uniform.
20. Students should not bring their vehicles inside the campus.
21. Students should not consume any eatables in the College premises except
inside the canteen.
22. The College property shall be handled with care and should not be damaged.
In case of damage of any building, furniture, apparatus or any other property of
the College, the damages will be charged to the students.
23. The students are required to improve and maintain consistency in their
performance in the university and college examinations.
24. Every class in-charge and academic advisor keeps a close watch on the
student's attendance, progress and conduct.
25. Any violation of the Rules & Regulations mentioned above will be dealt by
the Principal in the manner he considers fit and his decision will be the final.
226. There is nothing that can substitute for self-discipline and a serious
devotion to duty, a spirit of respect and love for all that is good, noble and
beautiful in life. The College expects students to keep their vision high and
solicit the co- operation of the parents in enforcing rules and regulations.
RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE COLLEGE LIBRARY
1.The Library shall remain open on all working days from 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
except on Saturday i.e. from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
2.Students should enter their name and time while entering the library and as
they leave they have to enter the time of departure and sign.
3. Absolute silence should be maintained inside the Library.
4. Students may borrow three books at a time which they can keep with them for 7
days.
5. Admission to Library will be strictly on production of Identity Card.
6. Students/staff must produce their Identity Card before borrowing any book/s.
7. Books should be returned on or before the due date, if not, a fine of Rs. 5/-
per day per book will be levied.
8. Students should return all books borrowed, before going on long
leave/vacation for more than 7 days.
9. The time for circulation i.e. issue/returns/renewals of the books is from
8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. The students are asked to check the books at the time of
issue. They will be held responsible for any type of damage or mutilation of
pages.Any damage done to the books in the custody of the borrower and in case of
loss of borrowed books the book has to be replaced with a new one.
10. When user misses and replaces a new book he/she must pay the overdue, if the
book is returned after the due date.
11. Reference books/journals should not be taken out of the library.
12. Newspapers and magazines should be kept in the proper place after reading.
13. Identity card is not transferable.
14. No personal documents are allowed inside the library.
15. Discussion or murmuring is strictly prohibited inside the library.
16. Students should deposit their bags and other materials in the separate rack
provided.
17. Students should keep a watch on the Notice Board quite frequently.
18. Consuming any eatables, chewing the gum or eating any chocolates are
strictly prohibited inside the Library.
19. The Librarian is authorized to withdraw the library facilities, if the Rules
are not adhered to.
