As a part of curricular activities, the IV B.Sc and II P.C.B.Sc nursing students of Sahyadri college of Nursing conducted an in-service education programme on `Career Opportunities in Nursing.’
Lt. Col. (Rtd). Prof. K S Suma, Principal, Unity Academy of Education, College of Nursing, Mangalore inaugurated the programme. He addressed the students on `Space Nursing and Robotic Nursing’. Prof. Theresa Mathais, H.O.D, Mental Health Nursing, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, Mangalore, addressed on the topic `Forensic Nursing.’
Prof. Leena K.C., H.O.D Community Health Nursing, Father Muller's College of Nursing, Mangalore, spoke on `Nurse Epidemiologist.’
Prof. Irene Veigas, Principal, Sahyadri College of Nursing, addressed on the topic `Legal Nurse Consultant & Correctional Nursing’.
The students were enlightened about the various opportunities in the nursing field. They were motivated and inspired by the various speakers and their talks. |
