Orientation Programme for I P U Students
Orientation Programme for I P U students was held from 7th to 13th of June with the participation of in-house and external resource persons. This programme was organized to introduce to them the new P U syllabi; the infrastructure and faculty of Sahyadri Educational Institutions; knowledge about various skills; information about competitive exams and career opportunities. Mr. Ananth Prabhu, Mr. Shruthakeerthiraja, Mrs. Sathyashree, Mr. Darryl Tauro, Mr. Naveen Pilar, Mr. Naveen S. A. Mr. Pramod Kini, Mrs. Sureka Adappa, Mr. Ashwin Kumar and Mrs. Roopalatha of Sahyadri Educational Institutions motivated the students by sharing their rich experience with them. Mr. Chethan Ram, a renowned counselor from Mysore engaged several sessions on study skills, communicative skills, meditation techniques, time management, problem solving, positive thinking, decision making, and people management. The Orientation Programme ended with students expressing their appreciation and opinion.
Orientation Programme for II P U Students
A two day Orientation Programme for the 2nd year PUC students was held to instill confidence and whip up the creative energies among them. Mr. Ananth Prabhu and Mr. Shruthakirthiraja of Sahyadri Educational Institutions conducted sessions on “How to become Super Productive” and “Preparing for CET and Importance of Study Schedule” while Mr. John Tellis, II Sem B. E. Sahyadri Engineering College, motivated the students by quoting inspiring thoughts. Prof. D. Manjunath, an eminent trainer and education consultant from Mangalore, engaged a session on “Positive Attitude.” Mr. Chethan Ram, a renowned counselor from Mysore, engaged sessions on “Personality Development” and “Study Techniques”.
