MBA Mentor-Mentee Meet (3M) at Rajasthan

Dr. Sharan Shetty along with his Mentees are heading to Rajasthan. This is the very first MBA Mentor-Mentee Meet at Rajasthan. The team is covering 5 major cities like Jaipur-Jodpur-Udaipur-Agra-Delhi. The Team has the plan of visiting world class universities, Industries, Top Central and State Government Houses and also sightseeing.

Sahyadri Whiz-Quiz 2019 Preliminary Round at GFGC Punjalkatte

Dept of Business Administration hosted the preliminary round and Phase II of Sahyadri Whiz Quiz at Government First Grade College, Punjalkatte. The quiz began with a formal function with Prof. Lokesha of GFGC Punjalkatte introducing the team. The session began with Prof. Ramesh K G addressing the students about the relevance of conducting Sahyadri Whiz Quiz. It was followed by preliminary round of Whiz Quiz, where 122 students of the college participated in the event. Prof. Ganapathi Bhat Kulamarva, Principal of GFGC Punjalkatte addressed the students and urged them to grab the opportunity and learn as much as possible. He appreciated the efforts of Sahyadri for lending a helping hand whenever needed for the growth of their students. The quiz was conducted by first year MBA students accompanied by Prof. Ramesh K G and Prof. Girish M.

Introduction of the Mentor:
Dr. Sharan Shetty is associated with the Department of Business Administration-MBA as a Professor of International Finance & Banking and Financial Advisor to the institution. He has done his MBA and PhD from VTU, Belagavi and Bachelor of Commerce from Mangalore University. Dr. Shetty is a great orator, writer, Researcher, Author, Motivator and Swimmer. He has a passion in transforming the young minds to be the best quality products of the country.
Mentee Details:
• Nagarjun M. H. is from Kundapura. He completed his SSLC in Kundapura and later moved to Udupi for his higher education. He is a BCOM graduate from PPC, Udupi. He has taken part in and has organized many college level fests. He is interested in Travelling mainly on bikes. He wants to pursue PhD in Management.
• Sagar S Nayak is from Manipal. He did his SSLC in MJC, Manipal and PUC and Degree in MGM College Udupi. He is interested in Travelling and Adventurous Activities. He also likes to collect Foreign Currencies. He aspires to be a Navy officer.
• Yashaswini Shetty is from Mumbai and has completed her schooling and graduation from Mumbai. She has done her Bachelors in Mass Media and specialized in advertising. A very friendly and talkative person. Loves animals especially dogs. A foodie and loves tasting new cuisine. She is a dancer and loves playing Badminton. She is also an Athlete. She aspires to be an Entrepreneur.
• Abhinandhan Rai did his SSLC in St. Aloysius High School, and completed his Pre-University in St. Aloysius Pre-University College. He is a B.Com graduate from St. Aloysius College Mangaluru. His interests are Athletics & Gym. He aspires to be an Entrepreneur.
• Arpitha is from Sakleshpura. She did her SSLC at Karnataka High School Mani and PUC at Vivekananda PU College Puttur. Her aspiration is to lead a team in a reputed MNC.
• Abhishek S is from Kundapura. He studied SSLC Gregory High School Nada Padukone and PUC in Junior College Kundapura. His hobbies are drawing, clay modelling, playing chess, cricket and football. He aspires to be an Entrepreneur.
• Ashna P Kothari is from Mangaluru. She did her SSLC at Ladyhill Victoria Girls High School and PUC at Canara PU College, Mangaluru. She is a BBM Graduate from SDM College of Business Management. She has participated in many competitions and fests. She was a HR co-ordinator during her final year of graduation at SDM. Her hobbies are Dancing, Singing, Travelling, Drawing and Reading books. Her short-term goal is to work in a reputed MNC and her long-term goal is to have a start-up of her own.
• Muhammed Hasheer M.M is from Mangaluru. He has completed his SSLC at AL- Badriya and PUC and Degree in St Aloysius College. He is the coordinator for the event CAUSE from past 5 years. He is interested in Snookers and Travelling. He aspires to be an Entrepreneur.
• Mohammed Shadman is from Mangaluru. He completed his SSLC from Yenopoya School, PUC and Degree from St. Aloysius College. He participated in inter-collegiate badminton tournament and won 3rd place. He is interested in both indoor and outdoor games. He aspires to be an Entrepreneur.
• Richa K Patel is from Mangaluru. She has completed her SSLC from Canara Girls High School, PUC from Canara PU College, Mangaluru. She is a B.COM Graduate from SDM College of Business Management. She is interested in Dancing, Drawing and Travelling. She wants to be a Financial Analyst.
