Dean-Strategic Planning, attends the First CII Mangalore Industry-Institute Virtual Meet
Prof. Ramesh K.G., Dean-Strategic Planning attended Virtual Meet of the First CII Mangalore Industry-Institute-Interaction Panel 2020-21. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss and finalise the proposed activities of the Panel for the Year 2020-21.
The other participants of this Virtual Meet were Mr. K. Prakash Rao, Chairman, CII Mangalore Chapter; Mr. Gaurav Hegde, Vice Chairman; Mr. B.A. Nazeer, Convenor; Mr. Robin Jose, Co-convenor and other representatives of CII Mangalore Industry-Institute-Interaction Panel.
ACM-S organised their second Webinar ACM-S 1.0 facilitated by the Co-Founder of UniCourt
ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) at Sahyadri organised their second Webinar ACM-S 1.0 on “Ideation & Prototyping”, on 21st June’2020. Mr. Prashanth Shenoy Katpady, Co-Founder & CTO, UniCourt, was the Guest Speaker.
Holder of Masters’ Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, Mr. Prashanth Shenoy Katpady co-founded UniCourt to transform an idea from its inception to a SaaS Solution. He also started Hackerspace Mangaluru, a community which holds workshops and talks on technology.
Mr. Prashanth related his journey towards Entrepreneurship and spoke on how to come up with an idea for a start-up. While speaking on the importance of prototyping, he said that it allows having multiple discussions before getting into final development. He also explained how prototyping can be done by defining your main goal of the project.
