MBA Faculty Members attend a webinar on “Personality & Building High Performing Teams”

webinarwebinar

With a view of getting a deep perspective into Personality and building high performing teams which is a requisite for management professionals, MBA faculty members attended a webinar on “Personality & Building High Performing Teams” organized by NHRD, Bangalore Chapter. The resource person Dr. Pradnya Parasher spoke about hard, soft and the deep aspects of building high performing teams and the psychology and science behind it followed by an interesting fireside chat between her and Christopher Anand.
Key Takeaways from the session to understand the contemporary issues in branding amid the Pandemic:
• A Team works towards a common goal, dependent on each other, sharing common leadership and also share success or failure
• One must identify the type of team on the basis of psychological safety and outcome. Teams may be classified as work-groups, pseudo teams, potential teams or real teams
• It is more important to understand how the team works, rather than who is in the team
• Team cannot have productivity without morale. Morale is an input variable, whereas, productivity is an output variable
• Teams must put more energy in nurturing relationships within team in order to succeed
The gist of the session could be put in one quote - “Talent wins games, team work wins championships”

Caliper shines inspite of the COVID-19 lock down period

fever_scanning
When the entire country is locked down & busy battling Covid-19, Caliper's marketing team worked from home to secure a major order for exports from Europe. Maverick Valves, Netherlands placed a whopping order worth Rs. 20 Lacs on Caliper. After assessing Caliper's capability for quality & delivery, Maverick came with a big bang switching over their supplier base from Italy to India, that too only with Caliper. Kudos to Caliper's marketing team spearheaded by Mr. Vignesh by working relentlessly with the customer to enable the change. Caliper is an in-house start-up Company at Sahyadri, manufacturing precision products for Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence and Space sectors.
