Pharsiyawar, a Doctoral Student of Dr. Umesh Bhushi, Director- Strategic Planning successfully defended his Doctoral Thesis on “Productivity Management of Apparel Industry in India-A System’s Perspective”.
The Viva Voce was conducted by External Examiner Dr. S P Sarmah, Head of the Dept of Industrial Engineering and Management, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur on 3rd January 2020.
Dr. Pharsiyavar an Associate Professor at Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot is the fifth Doctoral student of Dr. Umesh Bhushi. His other areas of doctoral research include Strategic Governance of Technical Universities, Productivity Improvement of Sugar Industries, Quality Cost Analysis in Automotive sectors, and Medical Equipments.
