Dept. of Mechanical Engineering conducts PAC Meeting

The Programme Assessment Committee (PAC) Meeting of the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering was conducted on 14th Aug’2020. Dr. Ravichandra, Dean-IC & Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering presented the observations given by the NBA Expert Committee and briefed the committee on action plans needed to be taken.
Dr. Ravichandra also apprised about the progress of 2019-20 Odd Semester highlighting student performance through result analysis, MOOC courses, placements, entrepreneurial activities, faculty performance through research and publications. The activities planned for the next academic year were also discussed with major focus on the progress with regards to autonomy.
Dr. Rajesha S., Principal gave valuable suggestions related to effective implementation of Teaching, Learning Process and also appreciated the dept. for achieving high scores during NBA team visit.
Dr. Nalini Rebello, Dean-Academics, gave a perception on effective attainment analysis and motivated the dept. to organize more activities like webinars that would give more exposure to the students about the relevant industry practices. The faculty, who were present, gave their inputs to enhance the overall OBE implementation in the dept.
