Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebrated at Sahyadri with Fervour

By showering flower petals on the photo of The Karnataka Maathe, Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated at Sahyadri with utmost fervour and dedication. The celebration started with the singing of State Anthem by Prof. Jayapadmini, Dept. of Information Science & Engineering.

Prof. Rajesha further stated that it is the moral responsibility of the elders to teach the younger generation by familiarising them with the new Kannada vocabulary and improvising it.
Prof. Rajesha illustrated by giving the example of Mother-Child relationship and how it is inexpressible. In the same way, he continued to say, one should have the attachment with Kannada, our state language. Only by developing such attachment, Kannada language which is sadly undervalued by today’s generation, can be brought to the foreground. He concluded by saying this way we can feel Kannada in our breath and pride ourselves over being Kannadigas.
