CSE Faculty publishes Patent Paper in The Official Journal of Patent Office

A Patent Paper entitled “Students Posture & Gesture Detection System using Artificial Intelligence and Methods Thereof” has been published under the name of Dr. Manjula V., Assoc. Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering as one of the applicants, bearing Application Number 202011046511, in the official journal of Patent Office Issue 45/2020 on 6 Nov’2020.
The invention discloses a Feedback System capable of improving instructors’ teaching capabilities. The Feedback System has the following capabilities:
Patent_paper 1. Generating feedback with better accuracy and thus easily identifying the areas of weaknesses and strengths of the instructors by evaluating students’ posture and gestures in the class.
2. Understanding instructors from perspectives of all the stakeholders involved, thereby generating a rating with areas of improvement. 3. Addressing the weaker areas by following a PDCA Cycle.
The system uses Artificial Intelligence methods to suggest instructors in the areas of teaching, caring, leadership, motivation, responsibility & Team work.
