Chairman invited as the Special Guest by Ramakrishna Mission Mangaluru for “Swaccha Mangaluru, What Next?” Public feedback and Brainstorming meeting

Chairman, Mr. Manjunath Bhandary was invited as the special guest for the “Swaccha Mangaluru, What Next?”, public feedback and brainstorming meeting organized by Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru at their Mangaladevi Math. The meeting was attended by representatives of various NGO's, private institutions and Government departments. Participants shared their opinions about the Swaccha Bharath Abhiyan initiative taken up by Ramakrishna Math and appreciated the huge success of the programme. They encouraged the math to continue with the initiatives and also gave suggestions about the project that could be taken up in future days in Mangaluru. Speaking to the audience, Mr. Manjunath Bhandary congratulated Ramakrishna Mission for their tremendous job and also spoke about the Social Innovation Projects that were undertaken by students at Sahyadri inspired by the concept of Solid Waste Management. He said that Sahyadri is ever ready to work towards the welfare of the society and expressed his complete support to Ramakrishna Mission in its social initiatives and projects.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Swami Jithakamanandaji, President-Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru; Swami Mahamedhanandaji, Editor-Vedantha Kesari, Chennai; Dr. N Vinaya Hegde, Vice Chancellor-Nitte University as the Chief Guest; Mr. Vedavyasa Kamath, MLA, Mangaluru and Captain Ganesh Karnik, Ex-Soldier, Indian Army as the Special Guests.
