Chairman holds Interactive Sessions with Parents of New Entrants to the Engineering Stream through Management and CET

Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman extended a warm welcome to the parents. He mntioned about the gap existing between corporate requirements and academic curriculum. And how Institute is trying its level best to bridge this gap by imparting through various activities like Outbound training program, Industry Connect Program and Initiative like Social Innovation program have reaped the fruits and how it has shaped students to think product centric.
He reiterated the fact about how Corporate’s expectation from candidates such as good exposure & attitude, Skilled & aptitude knowledge in addition to basic criteria.
He highlighted that real Engineers are the expected to give understand & create solution to the societal problems,.
With this he mentioned about Technical Value addition for Technical Upskilling and Training & placement . Job market is more of skill based & the emoluments offered are based on what value addition candidate brings with joining organization as an employee
