Community Onboarding and Code Init( ) Workshop organized by SOSC

A workshop titled "Code Init()" was organized and volunteered by Sahyadri Open Source Community (SOSC) on 13th February, 2021. The workshop saw participation from over 198 enthusiastic students (mostly fresher) from all branches of engineering at Sahyadri contributing to the success of the event.
The main aim of the workshop was to teach the basics of programming, best practices and to prove that programming is fun. The attendees were introduced to "Sahyadri Open Source Community" by sharing the member’s experience from pass outs to the newly recruits and were also apprised of the various other events/workshops conducted by SOSC.
The session was conducted by the club president Mr. Akashdeep Bhagat, a student of fourth year Computer Science & Engineering and Vice President Ms. Basavarajeshwari Ambi, a student of fourth year Information Science & Engineering.
