CSE Faculty Members Published Research Paper in Pensee International Journal

A Research Paper titled “Predict slow learners using Data Mining Techniques" has been published in the Pensee International Journal, Volume 51, Issue 02, 2021, ISSN-NO 0031-4773. This paper has been authored by Faculty Members of Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering - Dr. Manjula V, Associate Professor, as the first author and Dr. M Srinath, Professor, as the second author.
The research work focused on Data Mining and has involved a lot of responsiveness in research industry and in the world, as a whole, during contemporary years. It is the method of learning patterns in large data sets comprising methods such as of machine learning, statistics and database systems. Education data mining is concerned with the education. There are students in college who score virtuous grades but there are certain students who don’t score virtuous grades because they are slow learners. Slow learners are those teenagers who are unable to survive with the work normally predictable of their age group. There are several factors - why a student is a slow learner. It may be cultural and poverty, family inadequacy, parental disharmony, destructive behaviors, IQ level or even a certain friend circle. This project is used to predict if a student is a slow learner so that the faculty can help him/her in future.
