 Computer Science & Engineering Final Year student Selected for Cyber Shikshaa Program

Ms. Rheona Preema Fernandes, Final Year Computer Science & Engineering student has been selected for Cyber Shikshaa Program which was organized by Microsoft & Data Security Council of India (DSCI). With support from ISEA an initiative of Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), they have launched Project Cyber Shikshaa for skilling women engineering graduates in the niche field of Cyber Security in September 2018. As part of this program, C-DAC, NIELIT and other noted training partners are conducting training exclusively for women and making them Industry ready by imparting the requisite technical skills in the domain of Cyber Security. The program started with 3 cities initially and is now having footprints across India which includes successful completion of 22 batches in 12 cities.
DSCI is pleased to partner with Microsoft in developing industry ready women cyber security professionals through Cyber Shikshaa program. The program has trained 500 candidates in year 1. The program entails placement assistance for the deserving candidates with the potential recruiters looking to hire for various job roles in Cyber Security.
