Institutional Social Responsibility by MBAs – Food and Shelter to the Abandoned Senior Citizen

As a part of ISR activity, MBA Faculty Prof. Suchithra along with Sandeep, Vathsalya, Vinitha and Ganesh - students of Second year MBA visited Ms. Mulli, an abandoned senior citizen who has been isolated from her near and dear ones, with no basic shelter and food to lead a normal life. She has gone through trauma in her early days due to family issues. In order to support her and boost her with happiness, students along with faculty visited her, spent time talking to her and also sponsored eatables and cleaned her tent by changing the plastic sheets making her stay liveable. She is a self-reliant woman – making baskets from Bamboo for her living. She agreed to accept the giveaways on condition that our team takes her Baskets in return. The quality time spent and the affection shown by our team left her with tears.
