Sahyadri NSS students experience “Kandad Onji Dina”, a One-Day special activity in the paddy fields

Sahyadri NSS unit in association with Sandeep Raj Track & Fields, Madooru organized "Kandad Onji Dina", special NSS field activity for all the NSS volunteers in the paddy fields at Beeri, Kotekar on 19th September, 2021, Sunday. A total of 30 NSS volunteers participated in the planting of paddy saplings in the field. The NSS volunteers got a first-hand experience of the agrarian life as they took part in the paddy farming process and got an insight into the actual process. Shri Narayan Kumpala, agriculturist and Social worker; Mr. Sandeep Raj, and Mr. Shravan, Local representatives arranged and guided the NSS volunteers in this activity. Ms. Shreelatha U A, NSS Programme and AAO; Prof. Ramesh K G, Dean-Strategic Planning; Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor and Mr. Navin Pillar, Cultural Coordinator organized this event for the Volunteers.
