Dr. Ananth Prabhu G., Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering is invited by Goud Saraswat Brahmins (GSB) Youth for a live interaction in Konkani about Social Media Addiction and Gaming, on 26 Nov’2020.

3. How does all this impact mental health, especially among teens?
The above questions and more are defining a connected generation. Today’s teenagers have grown up in a world dominated by that device at the end of their wrists, but it does not have to run or consume their days.
There is a biological adaptation that our body experiences when the television sets and smartphones are switched off. Breathing patterns change and the stress & anxiety levels begin to reduce. The edge of depression rounds off a bit and we “return” back to ourselves.
