Session on Aspiration Building for students of the Young Leadership Program (YLP) organized by NAIN and SHINE Foundation

What could be more inspiring than learning from the lives of successful entrepreneurs! On the 20th of February’ 2021, Mr. Bonny Dave, Founder-Tresle Labs, and Mr. Mayur Shetty, CEO of Blackfrog Technologies interacted with a bunch of young, enthusiastic, budding leaders of the Young Leadership Program (YLP). The speakers shared their journey from student life to starting an enterprise which is focused on building products to the community.
The speakers emphasized on team building, and gave suggestions on overcoming emotional barriers while building startups.
Students put forward various interesting questions which were answered appealingly. Session was hosted by Sunidhi Patwardhan, a student of 2nd year Information Science & Engineering.
YLP is an ambitious programme at Sahyadri which brings together a group of passionate, young engineers who aspire to build creative solutions for the problems that hinder the development of a community. The programme encompasses workshops for capability development, by building a mindset that paves way for empathy, problem-solving, and creative thinking intertwined with a well-defined purpose that enables aspiring engineers to build technical solutions that can create a positive impact. It is an initiative that nurtures the leaders for tomorrow, who are determined to satisfy the Sustainable Development Goals derived by global organizations such as the United Nations to serve the planet and its creations.
