Dept. of Business Administration in association with Technical Career Education (TCE), organized a webinar on “The Digital Transformation of India”. The key note speaker for the webinar was Mr. Anil Nair, Managing Director, Country Digitalization (APJC). The Session was facilitated by Mr. Raman Madhok, Managing Director, Kahani Design Works Mumbai. The session was Moderated by Mr. Johnson Tellis, CEO of TCE.
Mr. Nair gave insights about Country Digital Acceleration and also gave a glimpse of various industries like
• Agriculture: Holistic farming, Prawn and Shrimp farming and also spoke about technology in farming by giving an example of sensors to collect characteristics of soil
• Manufacturing: Industry 4.0
• Healthcare: Telemedicine, Medical bus, Teleconference to connect to the Doctors
• Education: Teleconference Teaching and DRUVA scheme undertaken by them where 44 women’s college was facilitated with Videocon facility
• Mining and other Service industry
He concluded the session by enthusiastically answering all the queries and also suggested students to read a book titled - “Digital Disruption, A force is so chaotic that industries dissolve and recombine”. Students and Professionals of Sahyadri and other organizations attended the webinar.
