Civil Engineering Students of Fourth Semester visit Bridge cum Salt Water Exclusion Dam Construction Site

Students of Fourth Semester Civil Engineering visited Bridge cum Salt Water Exclusion Dam Construction Site at Harekala and interacted with the site engineers. The students were briefed regarding the site plan of the project, Geotechnical challenges involved in the execution of project, Foundation Details, RC Detailing and Dam component design specifications employed for the project.
Recently, the Dept. of Civil Engineering was awarded to offer Project Management Consultancy for the same by the Dept. of Minor Irrigation, Dakshina Kannada District.
Students were accompanied by the Faculty Members of Civil Engineering Department.
