Mechanical Engineering Faculty successfully defends Ph.D thesis

Prof. Shankara Murthy H M, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering successfully defended his Ph.D thesis titled - “Experimental investigations on heat transfer enhancement in a double pipe heat exchanger using metallic inserts and nanofluid" on 1st Nov’2021. His research work was guided by Dr. R K Hegde, Professor & Head, Dept. of Automobile Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru. The other members of his Doctoral Committee included Dr. Kumar G N and Dr. Ramesh M R, Professor’s, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, NITK, Surathkal. The research work produced three research articles in reputed journals like 1) Experimental Heat Transfer, Taylor & Francis, 2021, Impact Factor: 4.058 (Scopus & web of science), 2) Heat and Mass Transfer, Springer, 2020, Impact Factor: 2.223 (Scopus) 3) Heat Transfer Equipments, Begel House Publications, 2020, Impact Factor: 1.97 (Scopus).
