Foundation for Indian Scientific Heritage, Surathkal has donated 8 DVDs of Language Software Tools with User Manuals to the Central Library of our institution. These were released in 2010 by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India, under TDIL (Technology Development for Indian Languages Programme).
Sanskrit, Hindi, Marathi and Bengali/Bangla languges have common scripts with a few variations. MACHINE LEARNING projects can derive immense benefits from these resources.
Besides, there are Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu language softwares. General instructions are given in English. Only Indian Heritage can claim Saraswati as Sarvabhashamayi. Our Unity inspite of Diversity is due to this Identity in Divinity.
