 Sahyadrians get Internship at NSRCEL IIMB, Bengaluru

Monisha Tarkar from 2nd Year Computer Science & Engineering was provided with an opportunity to work in Women Start-up Programme 2018 at NSRCEL IIMB which is one of the India’s top start-up incubators. She helped the team in managing the boot camp which saw participation from 200 women entrepreneurs across the country. Sagar K Devadiga from 3rd year Mechanical Engineering, Intern-DTlabz will be interning in a start-up named Superheroes Incorporated which is backed by NSRCEL IIMB. He will be conducting various events for students. Superheroes Incorporated is one of the top 8 not-for-profit organizations incubated under the programme named NSRCEL Social supported by Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. It helps vocational students in India to get better jobs by enabling their soft skills.

Gautham Nayak, Co-founder of DTlabz and Sudesh Acharya from 3rd year Mechanical Engineering will be interning in a start-up named Trashcon which is backed by NSRCEL IIMB. Both will be helping the organization in mechanical design and simulation. Trashcon is the manufacturer and supplier of solid waste segregators and is one of the top 5 start-ups across India selected by Israel Embassy and also has been selected as top 5 start-ups of Shell E4 Acceleration programme.

Started with the motive to help Sahyadrians bring their dreams to reality, Sahyadri Edu DREAMERS R&D Pvt Ltd has been working relentlessly since 2015. It has been providing hands on experience in technology, exposure to events, team building and much more to the students. The above interns are the result of the diligent effort by the team.

These interns were channelized through Shreya M from DREAMERS who is currently working at NSRCEL IIMB. She is currently handling Pre-Incubation Programme and Community Engagements at NSRCEL IIMB.
