Caliper rolls out the First Batch of Products to Mumbai Metro Rail Project

Caliper Engineering & Lab Pvt Ltd., an in-house Industry at Sahyadri, completed manufacturing and shipped the first batch of products to Mumbai Metro Rail Project. The raw materials for the next batch have arrived and manufacturing is going on thick and fast.
Maintaining social distancing protocol and other Covid restrictions, several students are participating in manufacturing, thereby getting hands on learning on best manufacturing practices.
Caliper encourages more students to come and best utilize the idling time during this period, to gain live experience.

Executive Engineer of Minor Irrigation & Ground Water Development Div. visits Sahyadri

Mr. Gokul Das, Executive Engineer, Minor irrigation & Ground Water Development Div., visited Sahyadri. The purpose of the visit was to discuss about Consultancy and Testing of materials for the works executed by Minor Irrigation & Ground Water Development Dept. Mangaluru, Div.
Mr. Gokul interacted with Dr. Rajesha S., Principal, Prof. Ramesh K.G., Dean-Strategic Planning and Prof. Hemanth, Head-Dept. of Civil Engineering. He also addressed all engineers regarding Testing facilities of the dept.
Mr. Gokul Das was accompanied by his team of four assistant executive engineers during the visit.

Prof. Janardhana D.R., Prof. Ganaraj K. from the Dept. of Information Science & Engineering and Prof. G.B. Janardhana Swamy from the Dept. of Computer Science Engineering, presented a Paper on “Feature Enhancement Based Text Sentiment Classification using Deep Learning Model” at the 5th IEEE International Conference on Computing, Communication & Security (ICCCS-2020) from 14-16 Oct’2020, at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna.
All accepted and presented Papers will be submitted for inclusion at IEEEXplore® Digital Library.
