Placements and Training: Recruited by Anglo Eastern

Nishan Rai and Akshay Purushotam KC from the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering have been recruited by Anglo Eastern for the position of Marine Engineer.
Anglo-Eastern is a ship management company, with over 600 ships under third-party management. The company was formed by an August 2015 merger between Anglo-Eastern and Hong Kong-based Univan. As of November 2018, it was the largest ship manager in the world, and the second largest in the world.

Pool Campus Recruitment Drive -Telenetix

Telenetix conducted a pool campus recruitment drive for the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering students of the 2022 Batch. Many students from the pool Colleges participated in the drive. Results are awaited.

Students Driven Inter-Class Quiz organized by the MBA Dept.

As a part of the Peer to Peer Learning activity, Akhil Raj along with his team - Shreyas, Ajay Krishna, Shashanth and Basheer from the First year MBA organized a Business Quiz for three different sections of MBA Department. Each team comprised on 3 members seeing huge number of teams participating in the event per section. The top eight teams will go through the final round of quiz and the winners stand a chance to win exciting gifts and prizes.

ISE Department organized a Webinar on "Real time application of Analog and Digital Electronics"

Dept. of Information Science & Engineering in association with STAISE, ISTE, IEEE Student Branch, IEI and Sahyadri- IIC organized a Webinar on "Real time application of Analog and Digital Electronics" on 11th April 2022 09:00 AM IST for the students of Information Science & Engineering Department in Online Mode using Google Meet platform. The Resource Person for the webinar was Dr. Pavana Prabhu, Assistant Professor, NMIT Bengaluru.
During the webinar, she delivered a talk about how the evolution of analog and digital electronic system takes place in real time basis. She also discussed on some of the applications related to modern electronic system, where lot of innovation had taken place.
A total of 115 Students and 3 faculty members from Dept. of Information Science & Engineering participated in the webinar.

ISE Faculty Members Complete AICTE Sponsored Online FDP on "Mentorship Program and its Benefits in Technical Institutes"

Prof. Ganaraj K, Prof. Jayapadmini Kanchan, Prof. Madhura N Hegde, Dr. Shamanth Rai, Prof. Shwetha S Shetty and Prof. Madhu R from Dept. of Information Science & Engineering completed AICTE Sponsored Online FDP on "Mentorship Program and its Benefits in Technical Institutes" held during 07th to 12th March-2022 organized by Department of Production Engineering, National Institute of Agartala.
In the FDP various topics including Teaching-Learning process in premier Technological Institutes, Mentorship and Its Multidimensional Benefits, Effective Teaching Method for the Mentors were covered.
