His role is to support customers on next-generation technologies and helping customers approach and resolve technology problems by diagnosing and solving real world problems.

Dept. of ECE visited KarMic Design Pvt Ltd, Manipal

Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering organized a One-Day industrial visit in association with Sahyadri IIC and AEnCES on 31st March, 2022. The students of 3rd Semester Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering visited KarMic Design Pvt Ltd. The visit enabled the students to gain fundamentals of circuit design, macro modeling, verification, layout, validation, test, cost reduction, embedded firmware and applications and also helped them to understand industrial practices. The students were accompanied by Prof. Sunil Kumar P, Prof. Smitha A B, Prof. Chandra Singh, Prof. Sumiksha Shetty and Prof. Lahari V, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Social Innovation Program: Prototyping Session

As a part of the Social Innovation Program, the prototyping course through the skill lab resumed for first-year engineering students.
The session introduced the students to the design thinking process, where they were assigned a challenge to develop a game design for visually impaired kids.
The students wrote down the problem metrics and possible problem statements in the session's next part. They were encouraged to develop various ideas for the problem statements and brainstorm innovative solutions.
