Six Sahyadri project teams have been selected for the 2nd round of Manthan 2021, Business Plan Presentation, an FKCCI event
A total of 6 project teams from Sahyadri have been selected for the second round of Manthan 2021 Business Plan presentation event. Most teams from Sahyadri have been selected for the next round. Initially, 15 proposals were submitted, with 12 teams being chosen for the first round and 6 teams qualifying for the second round based on their first round presentations. The event drew more than 190 teams state-wide. NAIN Center at Sahyadri has nurtured and supported all these projects.

Manthan is one of the flagship events of FKCCI, the annual Business Plan Presentation Award Program that motivates the students to initiate the start-ups.
FKCCI is organizing “MANTHAN'' a Business Plan presentation award for the Under Graduate/Graduate/Post- Graduate and Diploma students in Karnataka to evaluate, recognize and reward the best original, commercially viable, and implementable business proposals. Instituted in 2009 and now in its 13th edition, MANTHAN-2021 is aimed at encouraging young minds to develop entrepreneurial spirit and motivate them to initiate start-ups.
Placement and Training: MOU signed with IDP Education India Private Limited
Sahyadri’s Training Placement & Career Guidance (TPCG) Cell signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Manoj Gasavi, Branch Manager along with Mr. Shijomon Yesudhas, Sr. Executive, Business Development, of IDP Education India Private Limited.
IDP Education helps international students gain admission to educational institutions in the main English speaking Countries.
The role of IDP includes:
• Conducting education fair once or twice a year wherein representatives of universities in US, UK, New Zealand, Canada and Australia will participate
• Conducting Seminars on IELTS & Overseas Studies;
• Inviting Sahyadri students to education fairs and events at Mangaluru
• Guest talks by eminent professors and scholars from international universities with whom they are partnered
IDP is a global leader in international education services. They provide higher education opportunities in different countries. Their success comes from connecting students with the right course in the right university or institution and the right country.
