Awareness Session on National Education Policy (NEP-2020) for the Non-Teaching Staff
An awareness session on "National Education Policy (NEP-2020)" was conducted on 14th August 2021 by Prof. Suchetha, Dept. of Basic Sciences (Mathematics), for all the Non-Teaching Staff as per the directions of the Principal. The session was conducted to familiarize and provide basic awareness about the major changes that will be implemented in the education system in the near future. The session threw light on the need for the changes in the current education policy and the new pedagogical structure of education. As Sahyadri will be implementing NEP-2020, sessions like these will not only gear up each and every stakeholder in the institution for the changes in the education policy, but will also create awareness on personal as well as professional front.
"Jaano Bharat" Online Quiz LIVE, to commemorate the 75th year of Indian Independence-Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
So far, more than 15000 Indians across the country have participated in the Jaano Bharat quiz, to answer 45 questions about India within 30 minutes in multiple choice formats. All the participants will receive "I Am a Proud Patriot" e-Certificate. Military masks produced by a company owned by Retired Flt Lt Aditiya Raj Gupta will be given to the first 75 participants who secure 40+ and camouflage bags along with table top Hand woven 75th year National Flags that are exclusively sourced from Dharwad Taluk Kshetriya Seva Sangh, Garag which is the only center that has obtained the Centre’s license to make National Flags to the first 5 participants securing full marks, i.e. 45 out of 45, sponsored by Jagdish R Chandra from Bengaluru.
This is an initiative of Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor at Sahyadri and author of the popular Glorious Bharat book series, to make Indians aware about the ancient culture, religious richness, heritage, histories and mysteries of India.
