Mr. Manjunath Bhandary gets elected as the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) of Karnataka
In the local authorities’ constituency covering Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts from where two candidates had to be elected to the State Legislative Council, Mr. Kota Srinivas Poojary and Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman-Bhandary Foundation, succeeded in registering victories with first preference votes on 14th Dec, 2021.
Mr. Manjunath Bhandary secured 2,079 votes and this will be his first term as a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC). Sahyadri Family takes pride of this moment and congratulates him for the victory and impactful journey ahead of him.
ECE Student Project wins 2nd Prize in Grand Finale of Indian International Science Festival 2021
Student Project from the Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) wins 2nd Prize in Category - Medical & Community Healthcare in Grand Finale of IISF- 2021 conducted by Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Science, Govt. of India, and Vijnana Bharati during 10th Dec to 13th Dec, 2021 in Goa.
The Project titled - “Implementation & Design of Autonomous Bot using ROS” by V Mukesh Kumar, Jeevan K, Pranav S and Vikas G K, under the guidance of Prof. Chandra Singh, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering was awarded cash prize of Rs. 20,000/-.
A total of 1193 teams had participated for 6 themes.
