Training on “Appearing for Personal & GD Round of Interview” for MBAs

Day Three (3rd Dec, 2021)

On the third Day, Students were given handouts for future reference which included Power words, Interview questions, Body Language-Do and Don’ts, Interviewee Traits and Pronunciation tips. Ms. Pavani K, trained students on facing Group Discussion round of interview and conducted Mock GD along with feedback being shared with the students. As an outcome of the last three days of training, students are appearing to be more confident and using polished language as they are getting exposed to the offline learning environment now.

“Design Now Workshop” organized by Dept. of Mechanical Engineering

Dept. of Mechanical Engineering in association with Sahyadri Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), FLAMES powered by ICT Academy and AUTODESK organized “Design Now Workshop” for the Mechanical Engineering students on 29th Nov, 2021, Monday at 2pm.
It was a hands-on session by using AUTODESK FUSION 360 software. Mr. Saurabh Singh, Senior Technical Trainer, Training & Research Department at ICT Academy was the resource person. A total of 74 students registered for the session. At phase 1, session was conducted for 3 hours. Phase 2 will be consisting of institute level modelling and designing competition on AUTODESK FUSION 360 platform among the participants. Winners of phase 2 will be participating at phase 3 which will be a national level event - “India Design Week 2022”.
Key points of the session
• Overview on importance of design and modelling tools and its applications.
• Awareness on job opportunities in design and modelling engineering sectors.
• Hands-on session by using AUTODESK FUSION 360 tool.
• Modelling and designing of various industry-related mechanical components.

Tomorrow’s Event

Sahyadri and IEEE Student Branch- SCEM in association with STAISE and SAHYADRI-IIC is organizing a workshop on “Technical Writing using Latex” on 4th Dec, 2021, 9.00AM onwards. The resource person for the event will be Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Associate Professor, REVA University.
