CSE Students’ paper published in IEEEXplore

A paper titled - "Digital Medicine Assistant-Health Application for Expiry Tracking" has been published in IEEEXplore on 4th Feb, 2022 authored by Students of Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering - Sharanya S Bhat and Shraddha K and Prof. Bhavana A S and Dr. Shreyas Rao, Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering. The paper was published as part of the "IEEE International Conference on Disruptive Technologies for Multi-Disciplinary Research & Applications", organized by Dayananda Sagar University. Inauguration: English Language Lab

The English Language Laboratory for the 2021-2022 Academic sessions was inaugurated on 3rd Feb, 2022, at Sahyadri. While inaugurating the English Lab, Dr. Rajesha S, Principal, spoke on the relevance of English in today's world. He encouraged the students to make efforts in speaking in English irrespective of the proficiency in Grammar. Hence he urged them to practice Spoken/Written English on a daily basis. He also re-iterated the objective of introducing English Language Lab – To strengthen students communicating ability and that they should make the most utilization of the English Lab.
Language Laboratory aims to produce an active and engaging approach to learning English in the most motivating way. The goal is for students to be able to speak English fluently and confidently with accurate pronunciation and accent. Students can improve their listening, speaking, and reading skills with fun-filled activities.
Dr. Prashantha Rao, Head-Basic Science; Prof. Balakrishna S S, Vice Principal; Dr. Nalini Rebello, Dean Academics; HODs of Various Departments, Staff, and First-Year Students were present during the inauguration ceremony. Prof. Susanna D'Silva, Prof. Soumyashree, Prof. Akshaya Shetty from the Dept. of English organised the programme.
