Chairman visits Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Baikampady along with Director-R&D and Head-Dept. of Civil Engineering

Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman along with Dr. Manjappa S, Director-R&D and Consultancy and Prof. Hemantha Prabhu, Head-Dept. of Civil Engineering visited the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Baikampady on 8th Feb, 2022. During their interaction, Mr. Keerthi Kumar, Regional Officer explained the quantum of waste collected in Mangaluru region. He explained the need for segregation of waste as dry, wet and sanitary waste. Further, he explained about the quantum of various waste materials like e-waste, biomedical waste, domestic waste, hospital waste, Industrial waste and mining waste.
Mr. Ramesh Naik, Zonal Officer and Mr. Ravi, Scientific Officer, KSPCB, Mangaluru were also a part of the meeting.
