Sahyadri hosts a joint meeting with Adyar Grama Panchayat and Ramakrishna Math

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Rajesha S, Principal, with Adyar Grama Panchayath Members and Ramakrishna Math. The agenda was focused towards making the village a Model Village by incorporating student’s ideas of innovation and technology. Swami Ekagamyanandaji of Ramakrishna Math proposed the ultimate aim to make the village a better place to live in various sectors like Education, Cleanliness, Nutrition and Health. Mr. Krishna Naik, PDO of Adyar Panchayath expressed that the Swacch Village is the need of the hour and requested to join hands for this cause. Mrs. Zeenath, President, Adyar Manadala Panchayath expressed the complete willingness to support Sahyadri along with all the elected members. Mrs. Emilda, Vice-President, Adyar Manadala Panchayath; Mr. Dilaraj from Ramakrishna Math; Dr. Manjappa Sarathi, Director-R&D and Consultancy; Dr. Joyline, Associate Dean (SW); Ms. Shreelatha Ullal, AAO; Prof. Shrinivas, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Mr. Gouse Khan, Manager, NAIN Centre were present during the discussion.

ECE Dept. organized a talk on "Career Building in VLSI and Semiconductor Industry"

Dept. of Electronics & Communication in association with Sahyadri Innovation Council, organized a talk on "Career Building in VLSI and Semiconductor Industry" in blended mode. The key note speaker of the talk was Mr. Dileep Kudva, Senior ASIC Verification Engineer in Dialog semiconductor, Arizona, USA.

Mr. Dileep Kudva gave insights about VLSI and semiconductor industries and also gave a glimpse of various aspects like

ECE Faculty appointed as Program Committee Member for International Conference on Internet of Things (CIoT 2022) in Copenhagen, Denmark

Prof. Chandra Singh, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering has been appointed as the Program Committee Member for the 4th International Conference on Internet of Things (CIoT 2022) to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark during 25th to 26th June, 2022.
About the Conference: 4th International Conference on Internet of Things (CIoT 2022) will provide an excellent international forum for sharing knowledge and results in theory, methodology and applications of IoT. The proceedings of the conference will be published by Computer Science Conference Proceedings in Computer Science & Information Technology (CS & IT) series. Dr. Prabhu delivers a Lecture for Ministry of Education, Gujarat on Cyber Safety Best Practices

Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security CoE, Sahyadri, was invited by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, Govt. of Gujarat to deliver a lecture on Cyber Security and Best Practices.
The lecture was for 2 hour duration in Hindi. Dr. Prabhu spoke about Covid Related cybercrimes, Chinese loan shark apps, sim card frauds and other new generation cybercrimes. 1000+ participants from Academia and Industry across the state of Gujarat attended the webinar, followed by Q&A.

Training and Placement: Internship Drive
