Infosys Certification is a technology accreditation that endorses the industry-readiness of students so that they can build a career of their choice. The examination process for Infosys Certification will test students for their knowledge in programming and databases. Students who clear the examination will become an ‘Infosys Certified Software Programmer’ and receive an interview opportunity for Systems Engineer role at Infosys.

Prof. Vinay B U, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering is now the official Mendeley Advisor.
Mendeley is a free reference manager that can help researchers to store, organize, note, share and cite references and research data. It also helps to automatically generate bibliographie, Collaborate easily with other researchers online, easily import papers from other research software, Find relevant papers based on what you're reading and also Access your papers from anywhere online.
As an Advisor, he can assist in conducting seminars on managing references, citation styling, collaborative and responsible data sharing with authors, co-authors etc.

ISE Department organizes a Webinar on “Data Collection Routing Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks & IOT”

Dept. of Information Science & Engineering in association with IEEE Student Branch- SCEM, STAISE and Sahyadri-IIC organized a Webinar on “Data Collection Routing Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks &IOT” on 18th Jan, 2022, coordinated by faculty members – Prof. Shwetha S Shetty and Prof. Kranthikumar Bukya. The resource person for the event was Dr. Koppala Guravaiah, Assistant Professor, IIIT, Kottayam. Dr. Koppala Guravaiah spoke about the fundamental concepts of WSN, RFDMRP and Applications of IOT and its importance in day to day activities. He also discussed the various aspects on how the real time projects can be done using routers and zigbee. Further, he also mentioned about various challenges in development of IOT projects quoting real time examples. At the end of the session, he answered the participants’ queries about Communication Architecture with vehicle monitoring system. A total of 100 students participated in the event.
