TECHVISION 2022
Inaugural Program: Project Expo - 'TECHVISION-2022' organized by Sahyadri and Supported by AICTE SPICE Scheme was held on 29th June 2022. This event was also supported by SOSC, Sahyadri MIC IIC and SPSS.
The program began with the Lamp lighting by the Chief Guest - Dr. H R Shivakumar, Special Officer, VTU Extension Center, Mangaluru; Dr. Manjappa S, Director-R&D and Consultancy; Dr. Rajesha S, Principal; Dr. Shamanth Rai, Dean-Academics and Prof. Naveen Kumar S, SPSS Coordinator. This was followed by a Talk by the Chief Guest - Dr. H R Shivakumar.
HOD's of various departments, representatives from CoE, Project Coordinators, Faculty members and students were present during the inaugural ceremony.
Valedictory Program: Mr. Devadas Hegde and Mr. Jagannath Chowta, the Trustees, were the Chief Guests. The programme began with welcoming the Chief guests, followed by their talk. The participants were extremely joyful and curious about the announcement of Winners of 'TECHVISION 2022'. This was followed by experience sharing of 'Techvision' by final year students.
VTU 23rd Inter-Collegiate Athletic Competition: Sahyadri Emerges as Runners Up
Sahyadri Boys Athletic Team emerge as Champions with 50 Points and Girls Team emerge as Runners Up with 33 points. With this, Sahyadri emerges as Runners Up scoring 83 points in the VTU 23rd Inter-collegiate Athletic Competition held at SJC Institute of Technology, Chikballapur during 27th to 30th June 2022.

CSE Dept. organizes a Workshop on 'Intellectual Property Rights & IP Management'
On 30th June'2022, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering in association with Institute Innovation Council, Ministry of Human Resource Development Initiative, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), organized a workshop on 'Intellectual Property Rights IP Management for start-ups and Future Engineers' facilitated by Dr. B C Prem Kumar, Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering.
