Euphoria-Chapter 2, an inter-class Quiz Competition

Dept. of Basic Science's Language and Soft Skill Cell organized 'Euphoria-Chapter 2', an inter-class quiz competition on Tuesday, July 19th'2022. Dr. Prashanth Rao, Head-Dept. of Basic Science, talked on acknowledging the demands of life and really buckling down to clean abilities and become equipped people.
The Quiz round was coordinated by second-year facilitators Brandon Leo and Devika Shetty, and comprised of six rounds. The understudies who participated had loads of tomfoolery sorting out the arrangement and unravelling the clue. Section 'L' was the winner. The occasion was compered by Ms. Devika understudy from the subsequent year. Event coordinators - Prof. Soumyashree, Prof. Susanna and Prof. Akshaya Shetty were present.

Dr. Prabhu trains the trainers for Cyber Safe Karnataka project of Govt. of Karnataka

Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre trained a batch of 65 trainers across the state via online mode for 2.5 hrs on Cyber Safety.
Dr. Prabhu, was appointed by the Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri. Basavaraj Bommai as the Chief architect for the Cyber Safe Karnataka project, to ensure Karnataka state becomes the first Cyber Safe State in India. Therefore, a team of trainers from various NGOs are trained, who will themselves visit schools and colleges and impart the importance of responsible browsing and the perils of the digital world.
This project is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, GoK and the NSS under the guidance of Mrs Shalini Rajneesh, IAS Principal Secretary and Coordinated by Dr. Roopa Gowda to meet the requirement of Sustainable Development Goal 5, which concerns gender equality and Sustainable Development Goal 16 which is about 'peace, justice and strong institutions' established by United Nations in 2015.

Game Development Workshop by Team Challengers

Team Challengers will be conducting a hands-on game development workshop - 'Make it Real with Unreal'. As the title suggests, they will use a very popular game development software.
Mr. V Mukesh Kumar, Developer at Juego Studios, is the resource person for this workshop. He is also a member of Team Challengers. The participants of the workshop will also be learning about the tools which will be a foundation for AR-VR. The registration for the workshop will be Rs. 299.
