14th IQAC meeting held on Blended Mode
The 14th Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Meeting was held on 4th July, 2022 in a blended mode. The Chairperson of the committee - Dr. Rajesha S, Principal, welcomed all members to the meeting. Dr. Shamanth Rai, Dean-Academics & IQAC Coordinator, presented the agenda-wise statistics to the committee and listed out various quality metrics for the upcoming Academic Year.

The experts gave few suggestions on quality improvement and appreciated the effort of the team and the institution for a collaborative effort in driving quality in all its initiatives.
The main focus of IQAC is to develop a system of conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the Institution. It also strives to promote measures for Institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through Internalization of quality culture and Institutionalization of best practices.
Farewell: ECE 2022 Outgoing Batch
Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering in collaboration with Association of Electronics and Communication Engineering Students (AENCES), organized a Farewell for 2022 outgoing batch students. Guest of Honour - Dr. Manjappa S, Director-R&D and Consultancy, while talking on the occasion, shared his thoughts on how one can nurture and be a good to great engineer and fulfill the needs of the society. He advised the students to come back to their alma mater and contribute through their industrial experience. Chief Guest - Mr. Devadas Hegde, Trustee-Bhandary Foundation shared his best wishes to the outgoing students of ECE Dept. Dr. Anush Bekal, HoD; Dr. Joyline Germine Dsa, Associate Dean; Prof. Gurusiddayya Hiremath and Prof. Sunil Kumar, Coordinator and other office bearers of the Student's Association witnessed the event.
Prof. Pateel G P, Dept. of ECE was felicitated for getting selected as Ph.D. scholar at National Institute of Technology, Karnataka (NITK), Suratkal. Mr. Pateel has cleared NET-22 and GATE-22.
Outgoing students shared their learning experiences and memories of four years on this occasion. Faculty and Support staff appreciated student's commitment during the pandemic and wished them all success in their future journey. Various cultural events and games were arranged for outgoing students after the formal function.
Dr. Prabhu interacts with Officers from Chandigarh Judicial Academy
Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre was invited by the Karnataka Judicial Academy to interact with the 28 Judges from Chandigarh Judicial Academy.
In his two-hour interaction, Dr. Prabhu spoke about Cognitive Bias, Decision making and other strategies. The session was followed by an exhaustive Q and A. Assistant Director of the Academy, Judge Ravi Kumar delivered the vote of thanks.
