Fresher's Day "AURA-2K22" organized for the first year engineering students

Fresher's Day "AURA-2K22" for the first year engineering students was held in the campus on 19th March 2022 in the presence of the Chief Guests Shri K Pandiarajan, Former Minister, Tamil Nadu and Founder Ma Foi Group; Smt Umadevi S Y, CEO and Member of Advisory Council, PES Trust Committee and Prof. Nagabhushana T N, Executive Director, East West Group of Institutions, Bengaluru. Dr. Rajesha S, Principal welcomed the guest and the gathering.
While addressing the students, Shri Pandiarajan shared anecdotes bringing out the essence that one should turn ideas into reality, use new platforms, and make use of all opportunities. He gave an example from Thomas' book, in which the world is elliptical yet he believes it is flat.

Smt Umadevi S Y spoke on how learning should be prioritized in one's life. She further re-iterated that as students they must comprehend their parents' desires while simultaneously assessing their own ability to fulfill those desires.
Prof. Nagabhushana shared several examples and highlighted that one should start manufacturing the necessity and create employment for self.

Prizes were distributed by the Guests to the winners of events conducted this year - Mathra Bhasha Diwas, Euphoria (inter-class quiz competition) and Voter's Day Contest.
Dr. Manjappa S, Director-R&D and Consultancy gave the concluding remarks, and the event was closed by Dr. Prashanth Rao, Head-Dept. of Basic Science delivering vote of thanks.

MBA faculty invited to facilitate a session for the students of Trisha Vidya College, Katpadi

Prof. Disha C Shetty, Dept. of Business Administration engaged her third session for students of Trisha Vidya College Katpadi on 18th March, 2022. The session was on the topic - "Personal Branding and Social Relevance" where she focused on topics like netiquettes, branding self on social platforms, how to lure audiences, and mainly on how to encash talent on social platforms. The session was a robust mixture of engaging activities that brought out creativity from the students and kept them pinned through the three-hour session pre-lunch. The session was very well appreciated and the recipients' sought extended help from the resource person in order to seek guidance to encash their talents on social media.
