A Session on “Interact and Enact with ACT”
The Department of Business Administration organized a session titled “Interact and Enact with ACT” by the experts and members of Animal Care Trust, Mangalore. To become a successful manager, one needs to be a good human being. The objective of the session is to bring management students close to their society and realize the need for nurturing , admiring nature and animals. One of the active volunteers of the Trust Mr. Tauseef Ahmed interacted with the students, shared his experience of various animal rescue operations conducted by their team in and around Mangalore. He also inspired the students to be a responsible citizens and try their level best to prevent animal abuse, abandons and bring it to the notice of the Trust in case such incidents are seen.
Mr. Charles, Trustee, Animal Care Trust addressed the students on the topic of handling snakes. He explained the various types of snakes, its variants in terms of venomous and non-venomous snakes, the first aid required, the myths about snakes etc.,.The session was informative and useful for the students

AEnCES Valedictory and Farewell for Outgoing Students
AEnCES (Association of Electronics and Communication Engineering Students), student association of Electronics and Communication engineering organized a farewell for outgoing students in the campus.
The Programme was inaugurated by the Head of the Department, Prof Manoj Kumar and Assistant Professor, Mr. Kiran Kumar, Mr. Sushan, President of the council, Mr. Ashok, Vice president, and Mr. Akash, Secretary were also present on the dais. Guest of honour, Prof Manoj Kumar addressed the final years students and wished them success ahead.
Students of the E&C department who made remarkable achievement in various fields like sports, culture, academics, and projects were felicitated. The outgoing students shared their experiences at Sahyadri. Cultural programme was also organized on the occasion.
