Achievements in Cultural: Sahyadrians participate in 'Vidyarthi Samskruthi Chaluvali-3' and secure Second prize in Folk Dance
A bunch of talents from Sahyadri participated in the State level Inter-Collegiate Cultural Competition - 'Vidyarthi Samskruthi Chaluvali-3' organized by Karnataka State Open University and Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishath held at Mysuru during 13th May to 14th May 2022. Students participated in various events and competed against students from 80 different colleges.

Students placed in Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, IBM, Saskeen, MRI solution, GalaxE solutions, Hexaware Technologies, Cognizant, Iwave, Novigo solutions were the panel members. Session was useful for the third-year students to start preparing for the upcoming placement drives.
First Year MBAs Organize a Marketing Event - 'Chakravyuha'
Chakravyuha is a marketing event organized by the first year MBA students which is segmented into 3 rounds namely Anveshan, Brahmashastra and Shatranj, in which 2 rounds were held online and the final round was offline. A total of 14 teams registered for the event with 3 members in each group. After the first stage of the final round, out of 12 teams, a total of 6 teams qualified for the final round of Shatranj. Team BMW secured the first place with cash prize of Rs. 4000/-; Team Google won the second place with Rs. 3000/- as cash prize and Team Cadbury bagged the third place winning a cash prize of Rs. 2000/-. There was also a cash prize declared for the uniqueness of a brand which was won by Ideal Ice-cream winning the cash price of Rs. 1000/-. The prizes were distributed to the winners by Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA Program; Dr. Ravindra Kaikini and Prof. Ramesh K G.
Dr. Prabhu Interacts with the assistant court Secretaries of the Karnataka High Court
Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre of Excellence was invited by the Karnataka Judicial Academy to address the assistant court secretaries of the Karnataka High Court on Positive Thinking, Stress Management and Time Management.
In his 2-hour online lecture, Dr. Prabhu narrated many real life motivational and inspirational stories. He also spoke about the various effects such as Nova Effect, Diderot Effect, Halo Effect, Decoys etc. Also, practical sessions on stress relieving and management was also conducted. The session concluded with an exhaustive round of Q and A.
