MBA Faculty and Students attend Session on 'Legal Updates & Trends' organized by NIPM, Mangaluru Chapter

National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) Mangaluru Chapter organized a Workshop on 'Legal Updates & Trends' facilitated by Advocate Prashanth B K, CCI-Legal, Bengaluru at Hotel Ocean Pearl on 30th April, 2022. Prof. Ramesh K G, Dean-Strategic Planning along with Ms. Ashwini Hoode and Ms. Jesumitha R, 2nd year MBA-HR students attended the workshop. The workshop began with felicitation to Prof. Ramesh K G, on behalf of the college for starting NIPM Student Chapter of Sahyadri.
Advocate Prashanth B K, discussed various legal matters related to Industrial Relations, Labour laws, Commercial & MSME laws along with decided case studies to explain the consequences of not adhering to the legal provisions and also how courts have interpreted some of the provisions. He also gave a glimpse about the new labour codes which will come into effect a few months from now. HR practitioners, HR heads of various industries, law professionals, representatives from various educational institutions and NIPM members attended the workshop.
The Officials of NIPM Mangaluru Chapter acknowledged and appreciated Sahyadri for providing Volunteers to organize the workshop.
