Placement and Training: Campus Recruitment Drive - Sasken Technologies Limited

Sasken Sasken Technologies Limited conducted a pool campus recruitment drive for the 2022 outgoing batch of Engineers. Over 300 students from pool colleges were part of the recruitment drive. The results are yet to be declared.

Bridge Course 2021 for Engineering Aspirants – Batch 2

Day Five (23rd Oct’21)

The fifth day of the Bridge Course was taken up Team Flotanomers who helped the students learn different wing configurations and calculations with respect to the Wing dimensions. The students were then assigned with the task to calculate all the dimensions of the wing. At the end, each student team built a wing using foam and learnt the calculations involved in the wing.

HackNight:21 organized by SOSC

HackNight HackNight:21 was a 24-hour long hybrid hackathon organized by Sahyadri Open Source Community(SOSC) during 23rd to 24th Oct’21. The hackathon spanned over two days and had 100+ participants from Sahyadri and a couple of participants from other colleges participating online.
The hackathon was judged by Sahyadri alumni Abhi Gatty, Jehad Mohamed and Musthaq Ahamad. The alumni also gave valuable insights regarding hackathons to the attendees. Second year students Vinayak, Pavan and Samrat won first place. Third year students Akhilesh, Anirudh, Jackson and Swasthik won second place in the hackathon.

CM of Gujarat releases Gujarati Version of Dr. Prabhu’s Cyber Safe Girl v4.0

Ananth_Prabhu Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre was invited by the Gujarat Police for the Cyber Safe Mission program at Ahmedabad on 25th Oct’2021. The Gujarati version of #CyberSafeGirl v4.0 was released by CM of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel in the presence of Minister of State Home, Harsh Sanghvi; Minister for Education, Jitubhai Vaghani in the presence of other ministers and senior Police Officers. The book was translated and revised by the Ahmedabad Police. The book will be distributed to schools and colleges in Gujarat.
