CSE Students’ Paper accepted for Publication in IEEE CENTCON Conference

A paper titled "Digital Medicine Assistant-Health Application for Expiry Tracking" submitted by Sharanya S Bhat and Shraddha K, students of Final year Computer Science & Engineering, has been accepted for publication in "IEEE International Conference on Disruptive Technologies for Multi-Disciplinary Research & Applications", organized by Dayananda Sagar University. The acceptance email was received on 25th Oct’21. The students were guided by Prof. Bhavana A S and Dr. Shreyas Rao, Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering for paper writing and reviews.

Bridge Course 2021 for Engineering Aspirants – Batch 2

Day Six (25th Oct’21)

Day 6 of Bridge Course began with a progressive session on Onshape. Students understood the basic concepts of the software and came up with unique designs for the chassis of an RC bot. The session mainly focused on building the chassis, with each team designing and coming up with its acrylic cuttings in the end. This chassis building by the respective teams is the first step in developing the ultimate RC bots for the mega event which is held on the last day of the Bridge Course.

Training on “Basics of Financial Market” for First Year MBAs

A four-day training on “Basics of Financial Market” was conducted for the First Year MBAs by Financial Management Course Coordinators - Prof. Suchithra Acharya and Prof. Monisha Shetty. Students were briefed about various financial topics like financial products and sources available in the market, manage personal financial investment, functioning of stock market and capital market. This programme was assessed through an assignment where they could practically apply the theoritical knowledge learnt during the four days.
