IQAC organized a Webinar on “Issues & Challenges in RAF of NAAC”

On 28th Oct’2021, the Sahyadri IQAC organized a Webinar on “Issues & Challenges of the Revised Accreditation Framework (RAF) of NAAC” for Faculty facilitated by Dr. Shakuntala Katre, Former Dean of Science and Director, PMEB, Bangalore University. Dr. Katre spoke on the Quality Assurance Model, Five Pillars of Quality, Seven Criteria in SSR with 32 Key indicators, focus on Innovation and Institutional Values; Break up of Quantitative and Qualitative Matrices for Evaluation, Process of NAAC and its duration. She gave heads-up that institution should stress on Institutional values, Social Responsibility and Institutional Distinctiveness. She highlighted various revisions in the latest version of NAAC manual and also threw light on the Grading system with special mention of the importance of “Extended Profile of Institution”. The webinar was highly impactful as the faculty members are aware of the expectations now and can proceed with tasks related to NAAC accordingly.

Day 8 of Bridge Course was initiated by a session on Communication strategies which was taken up by Mr. Prajwal Shetty. The afternoon session progressed on building a plane/ aircraft facilitated by Team Flotanomers.
