Sharada Pooja held in the Sahyadri Central Library

On the auspicious day of 20th Oct, 2023, Sharada Pooja was held at the Sahyadri Central Library. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chairman Mr. Manjunath Bhandary; Secretary Ms. Prasanna Bhandary; Trustees Mr. Devadas Hegde and Mr. Jagannath Chowta, along with the esteemed Principal, Deans, Finance Officer, HODs, dedicated staff members, and enthusiastic students. It was a harmonious union of knowledge and devotion, symbolizing the profound values upheld by the institution.

Placements and Training: 7Edge organized a Pool Campus Recruitment Drive

7Edge organized a recruitment drive on 19th Oct, 2023 for the Engineering students from the 2024 outgoing Batch. The process began with a pre-placement talk and was followed by Aptitude online Assessment. A total of 179 students participated in the drive. Sahyadri is in anticipation of the results.

Mechanical Engineering Faculty publishes a Research Paper

A Research Paper by Dr. Lawrence Joseph Fernandes, Associate Dean (Student Welfare) and Associate Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, titled ‘Effect of Dwell Angle and Two-Stage Fueling Approach on the Engine Parameters of CRDi Engine using WCO Biodiesel Blends’ is published in the International Journal of Vehicle Structures and Systems. The latest Quartile of the Journal is Q4. The Journal is abstracted and indexed in Scopus.
The International Journal of Vehicle Structures and Systems (IJVSS) is a quarterly journal and focusses on the subjects of modelling, analysis, design, simulation, optimization and testing of structures and systems of vehicles.
