Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) is an autonomous Science and Technology organization under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Karnataka. It has ventured into Student Project Programme (SPP) in 1977-78 to provide financial and academic support for final year Student’s Projects. For the Academic Year 2020-21 under KSCST 44th Series for Student Project Programme, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management has secured funds for 24 projects and one of them is awarded as the “Best Project of the Year”.

Tomorrow at Sahyadri

Fit-India Freedom Run 2.0 for Staff and Students

FIT India Mission has conceptualized FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0 to commemorate the 75th Independence Day - "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav". The nationwide campaign will be on the concept of “Physical/Virtual Run” in a continuum from 13th August to 2nd October 2021 to encourage fitness and help us all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc. The concept behind this run is that “It can be run anywhere, anytime!”
In this regard, the Sahyadri NSS Unit and Department of Physical Education will be organizing FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0 for all the Staff and Students of Sahyadri on 18th September 2021, Saturday from 11:00 am at Sahyadri Campus.
Participants will receive an e-certificate from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Govt. of India. Participants can come in sportswear on Saturday to participate in the event.
