Mechanical Student-Faculty Research Team Publish Four Book Chapters in Two SCOPUS indexed books

SCOPUS The four Book Chapters written by Student-Faculty Research Team comprising of four UG students - Vishal H Kanchan, Sohan R Alva, Hithesh Alen D Costa, Preethesh B and Dr. Rathishchandra R. Gatti, Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering have been accepted and will be published in two books, namely, Self-Powered Cyber-Physical Systems -Design and Applications (Scrivener-Wiley, USA) and Computational Modeling and Simulation of Cyber-physical Systems (Nova Science Publishers, USA).
Chapters accepted by the book - Self-Powered Cyber-Physical Systems -Design and Applications (Scrivener-Wiley, USA)
1. Recent Advances in Integrating Renewable Energy Micro-Grid Systems with Electric Vehicles
2. Renewable Energy Smart Grids for Electric Vehicles
3. Overview of fast charging technologies of electric vehicles
Chapter accepted by the book - Computational Modeling and Simulation of Cyber-physical Systems (Nova Science Publishers, USA)
4. Feasibility Study of Digital Twin in Automotive Industry- Trends and Challenges
The books are scheduled to be published by December 2021 and will be indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science.

“Pathway to Finance Excellence”, an LDP for First Year MBAs

Dept. of Business Administration – MBA, conducted “Pathway to Finance Excellence”, a Leadership Development Program (LDP) for First Year MBAs in order to assist them in choosing their Specialization for the 2nd year MBA which is ahead of them. The Workshop had 3 sessions related to Finance as a Career Choice, the Opportunities and Challenges. The sessions were carried out by Mr. Siddesh Rai, Assistant Vice-President, FinMen Advisors Pvt. Ltd; Mr. Bala Thiyagarajan, Vice-President, Capgemini, Bengaluru and our very own alumna Ms. Sheryl Nidhi Aiman, Audit Associate, KPMG – GDC.

MBA Faculty invited as Resource Person for a Training Programme at St. Agnes College, Mangaluru

Prof. Padmanabha B, Dept. of Business Administration was invited as a Resource Person by St. Agnes College (Autonomous) Mangaluru to Train their non-teaching staff on Team Building and Interpersonal Relationship. The sessions were activity-based contributing through experiential learning. Sr. Dr. M Venissa A C, the Principal of St. Agnes College inaugurated the Training Programme. A total of 35 non-teaching staff of Degree and PG courses have actively participated in the programme. Ms. Aishwarya Murthy and Ms. Vivita Mildred D'Souza, First Year MBA students assisted the faculty in conducting the Training Programme.
